  • NYX’s false lashes are durable, at least that’s been my experience so I’ve been able to reuse them at least ten to fifteen times if I clean off the glue properly
  • My other negative point about these false lashes is that I’ve noticed that the full selections are hard to find in stores, probably because NYX cosmetics are only sold in certain places
  • The best way to get your hands on them is to order off of their website
  • I love them but they’re on the pricier side, selling for around $10 a pair, that’s almost as much as MACs false lashes
  • Despite their pricier new line of false lashes I would highly recommend NYX false lashes if you’re looking for fun, flirty and affordable lashes that are also durable

NYX is one of my favorite brands of cosmetics because they’re super affordable and have such a huge selection of colors and makeup to choose from. What they’re best known for are their false lashes, they have one of the biggest selections of false lashes to choose from, much more so than many bigger names like Mac, and much more affordable for sure. I’ve tried several of NYX’s false lashes are the following are my pros and cons for this product.

I’ll start off with the pros to NYX false lashes first. What I liked about NYX false lashes, at least the ones I’ve tried,

is that it’s very affordable costing not much more than my Ardell drug store lashes, which is around $4 to $6 a pair. They’re also reusable and lasts a long time with proper care. I liked that NYX offers a great selection of styles to choose from, ranging from natural looking lashes to dramatic too very dramatic and colorful. NYX’s false lashes are durable, at least that’s been my experience so I’ve been able to reuse them at least ten to fifteen times if I clean off the glue properly. Some of their eyelashes, even though not made with real hair do look realistic. I ...

      • also liked that NYX is a cruelty-free brand.

As for the cons to NYX’s false lashes, well there are some but not too many that I could think of. The first point is that none of their false lashes from what I could tell are made with real human hair, I’m not sure why though. I generally prefer human hair as oppose to synthetic material but these turned out to be very well made and stayed on strong so I could over look that. My other negative point about these false lashes is that I’ve noticed that the full selections are hard to find in

stores, probably because NYX cosmetics are only sold in certain places. The best way to get your hands on them is to order off of their website. My other con for NYX’s false lashes is that they recently came out with a theatrical line of false lashes that are much more dramatic and flashy. I love them but they’re on the pricier side, selling for around $10 a pair, that’s almost as much as MACs false lashes.

Despite their pricier new line of false lashes I would highly recommend NYX false lashes if you’re looking for fun, flirty and affordable lashes that are also durable.
