  • I tried this product because unfortunately I am a smoker and although I continue to smoke, I do appreciate that it leaves a horrible smell in my flat and on my clothes
  • I usually get a litre bottle from Tesco for £4.69 which I think is good value as it is effective and a couple of sprays goes a long way

Febreze Classic is a fabric refresher that you can use on most fabrics, except leather and silks, to eliminate odours and freshen. It is useful to refresh those fabrics that you cannot wash easily such as carpets and sofa covers for example, but it works well on your clothes too without damaging them.

I tried this product because unfortunately I am a smoker and although I continue to smoke, I do appreciate that it leaves a horrible smell in my flat and on my

      clothes.

I have been using this regularly for a while and I am very pleased as this product does really work.

I usually get a litre bottle from Tesco for £4.

69 which I think is good value as it is effective and a couple of sprays goes a long way.

The spray nozzle is sturdy and sprays over a wide area at once.

You are supposed to spray until fabric is damp and then leave to dry, by which time it will have worked.

      • Particularly if I am having visitors to my flat, I will spray my curtains and sofa in good time and it really works in freshening up my flat.

I do burn scented candles and use air fresheners etc but Febreze really works in helping the whole place freshen up.

I also use it on my cardigans, some of which are wool and some are acrylic, and I spray them lightly the night before work if it is possible that they have got the

        odour of cigarettes on them.

When they are dry the next morning I have the confidence to wear them to work.

Depending on what kind of fabric you are spraying you do have to leave probably at least a couple of hours before you want to wear it.

When I use Febreze on clothing you can smell the fresh scent of the product if you sniff it but I do not find it too overpowering.

All bad odours are gone anyway – it really does work.
