  • Since I've been suffering from almost year-long allergy symptoms, for the past nine years, I think the symptom that most effects me, and I find the most debilitating, is the headaches and migrains associated with sinus infections
  • And I honestly wasn't sure the headaches were sinus related, because my other symptoms weren't always severe enough to seem to cause a headache, so I headed to the doctor and had all kinds of tests done to assure me that it wasn't a more serious problem, since we do have a family history of brain anueryisms, which my mother recently had surgery from, and her brother died from at a very young age
  • But, I found that not a whole lot of things worked for me, and I was moving from medication to medication, prescription and over-the-counter, trying to find something that treated all the symptoms and, because we're economical and want to find someting that suits the rest of the family as well, it needed to treat their symptoms on top of mine

Since I’ve been suffering from almost year-long allergy symptoms, for the past nine years, I think the symptom that most effects me, and I find the most debilitating, is the headaches and migrains associated with sinus infections. At first, these headaches were pretty mild, and I could just ignore them but as the years went on, the headaches progressed. And I honestly wasn’t sure the headaches were sinus related, because my other symptoms weren’t always severe enough to seem to cause a headache, so I headed to the doctor and had all kinds of tests done to assure me that it wasn’t a more serious problem, since we do have a family history of brain anueryisms, which my mother recently had surgery from, and her brother died from at a

very young age. Once I was tested and assured there was no other way to explain the headaches, I figured I’d start taking allergy medications to help relieve the allergy symptoms (which started pretty mild) and, in turn, relieve the headache as a result.

But, I found that not a whole lot of things worked for me, and I was moving from medication to medication, prescription and over-the-counter, trying to find something that treated all the symptoms and, because we’re economical and want to find someting that suits the rest of the family as well, it needed to treat their symptoms on top of mine. Basically, we needed a cure-all. We’ve tried obscure medications, homeopathic, and then your generic medications like excedrin, tylenol and advil. Normally, excedrin products upset my ...

      • stomach, though I’m not entirely sure why, so I’ve avoided them in the past, but when my sinus headache was pretty bad, my husband brought the excedrin sinus headache home by mistake, because he didn’t know excedrin upsets my stomach.

And, I don’t know what it is about this product that makes it different from other excedrin products, but this one really worked. Or, at least, worked as well as most others (which is basically just okay) and didn’t upset my stomach at all, and excedrin is a trusted brand, so although I’ve had stomach issues with the brand in the past, I still trust it enough to share it with my husband and teenage children. We’ve all used the sinus headache medication by excedrin, and it works better for

some of us than others. I have a high tolerance for medications, and following the directions and recommended dosage, it’s not AS effective for me as it is for my husband. But, I do feel some relief. The headache either dissipates entirely or at least lessens in intensity, and the sinus congestion is mild in comparison to what it would otherwise be, though not gone completely. I have to say that this medicine was a total surprise, seeing as how I took it out of late-night desperation, and I have no doubt we’ll be using it again in the future, especially since both my kids really like it and thinks it works great, since headaches seem to be a major symptom for them as well. Something they’ve unfortuantely inherited from me. Good product. Reliable.
