  • The “pussy” line is perhaps too crude and clearly a lead for a joke, but the final scene in a doctor’s office with Larry making an unintentional admission of child abuse is up there with some of the best Curb endings

      Curb hits a high note with this episode, reminiscent of some truly awful misunderstandings like “The Doll” amongst others. When Larry is bothered by the nine year old daughter of a crew person, he finds himself in a text friendship with her, which at first bothers him, but later costs him a great

      deal more.

      There’s a nice balance of independent story and the ongoing Seinfeld storyline, which uses Jerry Seinfeld particularly well against Larry – think a more balanced Richard Lewis and Larry relationship. Michael Richards is also forced to confront his infamous racist moment in a skit with Leon, which is both funny and pretty brave.

      There’s some cameos from the likes of Wayne Knight and Estelle Harris in their old Seinfeld roles which should prove exciting for any fans and seeing the old set revived for this Curb storyline is certainly impressive.

      constant set visits by Marty Funkhauser and Jason Alexander’s disgusting habits with borrowed property. But it’s the central storyline with the nine year old which provides the biggest laughs .

      It’s probably a clumsy set up, not on the scale of other episodes this season, but not far behind it. The “pussy” line is

      perhaps too crude and clearly a lead for a joke, but the final scene in a doctor’s office with Larry making an unintentional admission of child abuse is up there with some of the best Curb endings.

      A fine addition to the series back catalogue, and a stand out of a weak season.
