  • They even sell a few 80's must-haves behind the bar to complete the experience - big sunglasses, leg warmers, fluorescent arm bands and head bands etc. Great for an impromptu fancy dress - or for forcing those in your party who wimped out to get some kit on
  • Flock of Seagulls, Toto, Yes, Fiction Factory, Howard Jones, Midge Ure etc. That's probably why I like it so much - it's not just the over-played 'cheese' that gets pumped out of those speakers and gets people dancing

This is THE place to go in London if you like 80’s music. Even if you’re not a die-hard fan you should still go just to soak up the atmosphere and have a good giggle at the end of a hard week.

It’s your standard club in many respects - a bar upstairs, and downstairs a big dancefloor, another bar, toilets and cloakroom.

      The decor

is suitably loud, brash and tacky - lots of neons signs, lit up dancefloor, mirrored walls.

They even sell a few 80’s must-haves behind the bar to complete the experience - big sunglasses, leg warmers, fluorescent arm bands and head bands etc.

      The ...

      • music is great.

It’s your usual 80’s pop suspects - Duran Duran, Tiffany, Frankie, Wham, and soft rock like Bon Jovi, Simple Minds et al but also far less mainstream, or more cult electronica, new wave, romantics stuff that you may not have heard in ages: Flock of Seagulls, Toto, Yes, Fiction Factory, Howard Jones, Midge Ure etc.

That’s probably why I like it so

much - it’s not just the over-played ‘cheese’ that gets pumped out of those speakers and gets people dancing.

        And dance they do.

The stage area is usually rammed but people tend to be bobbing all over the place if a particular song they like comes on - in the queue for the toilets, at the bar, on the way out.

        Strictly no pretentiousness.

        It’s a really fun, don’t-care-what-you-look-like atmosphere.

        Recommended!
