  • It was kind of a quiet issue, it drove the plot forward so it hardly qualifies as filler, but it was clearly a bridge issue

This comic deals with Jim’s identity crisis. Sara informs him that they don’t really have any info on him and that no one visited to confirm his identity. He’s rightfully freaked out by the whole ordeal and storms off to clear his head.

At a diner, he’s visited by Wanda, who claims

to have met him years back. It was a nice way to tie the two Spawns together. She looks into his eyes and recognizes..I don’t know, the mark of Spawn?

Anyway, he goes and finds a hobo who takes him to the old Spawn’s…throne I guess. I’m not well versed ...

      • in Spawn so some of this is lost on me.

An angel notes that something is screwy and goes to investigate. She introduces herself as Spawn’s sibling.

Meanwhile, the two detectives recognize the signs and know that supernatural activity is afoot, but they are unsure if it’s Spawn.

It was kind of a quiet

issue, it drove the plot forward so it hardly qualifies as filler, but it was clearly a “bridge” issue.

Again, the artwork was stellar and the writing well above average. The Spawn comics always seem to pull me in. I’m really excited and curious to see where this arc goes.
