Merlyn is imprisoned and all seems well. The officer from last issue reveals his name is Hilton as opposed to Wright, so I guess he was talking to someone else. Either way, we have a name and, hopefully, it doesn’t change again.
Merlyn’s time in prison is cut short when a truck is dropped on the
building. People are wounded and even Merlyn is knocked out. While you would think that he was plotting his own escape, he wakes up to find himself captive of the Arrow fangirl we met earlier. It seems she’s donned a costume for herself and everything.
Even the one guy who appeared in the cliffhanger appears here. As it turns out, that first issue really did plant seeds for subplots as the man was rendered deaf by Canary’s cry. He is, understandably, not too happy about it.
It seems like Kreisberg is really trying to give the pair some enemies of their own. Each one has a unique vendetta ...
