  • The planes stops and Vince comes out to ask Eric if he is ready to ruin their friendship because he can’t fire the best friend but he can fire his manager
  • Considering the fact that Vince has that ‘I don’t care’ attitude all the time I thought it would be the same with this but he really made a big deal out of Eric’s wanting to be his manager

This is the last episode of the first season of this show. I really wonder how this year will end for The Boys. They are going to New York City as Vince is starting to make ‘Queens Boulevard’ movie. Turtle and Johnny want the going away party. Vince has to say good bye to many girls. The guys tease Eric about who he is going to invite to the party, Emily or Kristen. Vince wants Eric to hook him up with Scarlet Johanssen but Eric doesn’t know her.

Eric goes to Kristen house for dinner but he only talks about Vince. She thinks he is addicted to Vince. She tells him that they are back together. Johnny’s agent got him a role in a pilot episode of CSI: Minneapolis but then he has to quit on his bookie role in Queens Boulevard which is paying much less that CSI. Vince wants Johnny in New York so he offers him to put him up and to double the money he would get from CSI but Johnny doesn’t want his little brother to put him up. Turtle wants to go to New York too and he wants to pay his part by charging

$10 for tickets to the Go away party.

Vince accepts. He asks Eric about the news with Scarlet Johannsen but Eric replies he is not his pimp. The man who prints the invitation for the party recognized Johnny so in exchange for his signed picture he gave them 1000 invitations for free. Eric is in a car waiting for Vince who is having sex. He talks to Kristen and realises that what Vince is doing is disrespectful so he goes away. Shauna gets the invitation for the party too.

The invitations are printed on a lame paper with Vince’s picture on it. She thinks that will damage Vince’s image. Eric confronts Turtle about it when Vince arrives with another girl he has to say goodbye too. They have to go to Ari’s office to go through some deal points but Vince doesn’t want to go because he wants to stay with Janine. Johnny goes on the audition for CSI while Eric goes to Ari’s alone. Emily is still mad with him and calls him Pizza boy.

Eric wants to become Vince’s real manager. Johnny blows his audition because he can’t act while someone is writing an e-mail. Someone says he ...

      • liked him, Johnny says to Turtle they are going to New York. Eric wants to talk to Vince about being his manager, Vince thinks it is all Kristen fault because each time Eric come home from her place he talks like him. They go for a dinner but Vince invited Johnny and Turtle too. E is pissed so he doesn’t want to go to New York.

Vince wants thing to remain the same. Johnny thinks that Vince made a mistake by not accepting Eric as his manager. They arrive in front of the house but Vince doesn’t want to go in, Turtle does so he goes and Vince calls E to bring him his wallet. Turtle comes back with a bunch of money. The boys are just about to go on board when Eric arrives with Vince’s wallet. They talk but Vince goes on the plane anyway leaving Eric behind.

The planes stops and Vince comes out to ask Eric if he is ready to ruin their friendship because he can’t fire the best friend but he can fire his manager. While they are talking Eric’s phone rings. It’s Scarlet. Vince tells Eric to get on the plane. I really liked

Eric in this episode; he was really fighting for himself. One thing is to help someone and other thing is to be his manager and help him professionally.

This way Eric started building his career. I can understand Vince’s doubt to a certain point but still you can’t expect everybody to be your puppies and jump each time you say jump. It was a good episode. Considering the fact that Vince has that ‘I don’t care’ attitude all the time I thought it would be the same with this but he really made a big deal out of Eric’s wanting to be his manager. The scene with Johnny’s audition was really funny. I knew he was going to mess up something.

We realize that he isn’t getting roles because he is a bad actor but because he manages to ruin his chances. Did he do it on purpose or not we’ll never know but it was nice to see all four boys together going back to the place they were born, from which they left together. Even Turtle showed some initiative by throwing the party. Although he didn’t do everything perfect he still managed to make money, again on Vince’s behalf but still, it was fun to see him in action.
