The essential to any makeup kit is a good eyeshadow primer. Finding a good eyeshadow primer takes trial and error and one of the best, Urban Decay’s primer potion costs about $20, a steep price for many makeup divas. Times are tough and many people are having to cut down their expenses so spending $20 on a small bottle of eyeshadow primer has become a luxury to many women. E.L.F. cosmetic, a

favorite brand of mine, offers a couple of eyeshadow primers to choose from, one that I particularly like is their mineral eyeshadow primer. The following are my pros and cons for this eyeshadow primer.

What I like about E.L.F’s mineral eyeshadow primer is that it goes on smoothly and blends nicely. I also find that this primer is doesn’t crease and lasts a very long time for me, usually all day if I apply a thin, even layer. I like that it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on my eyelids either. This product is very affordable at just $3 a tube and contains vitamins A, C and E. I really like that E.L.F’s mineral eyeshadow primer is cruelty-free, which means it wasn’t tested on animals. very compact package that’s easy to carry and pack.

Now for the cons to E.L.F’s mineral eyeshadow primer. I really have only one complaint about this product and that is that I can’t seem to find it in stores so I have to order it off of their website. I wouldn’t have a problem with ordering the product off of their website if their shipping fee wasn’t $7. To off balance that

shipping fee I have to buy quite a lot of products.

Despite the annoying shipping fee I thought that E.L.F’s mineral eyeshadow primer was a good shadow primer. I would buy it again because it’s affordable and worked well for me. I would also recommend it to those who are looking for mineral based shadow primers and cruelty-free cosmetics. It’s also great for those that travel a lot because of the compact size.
