The title and cover looked kind of cheesy to me, and so I guess that I was a little reluctant to watch it. I thought that it was going to have poor acting, bad visual effects, and a lame storyline.

And it did, but it was absolutely hilarious.

Jack Black really made this film.

      With his humor, facial

expressions, and incredible acting, this movie really was a hit with my family.

The other actors were good at playing the “real people” and then very fake when trying to pretend that they were in movies, so it was a really good, clean laugh.

There really wasn’t any raunchy humor in this movie, just a lot of good ...

      • fun that is great for the entire family to enjoy.

Another thing that I liked about this was that it really had a lot of great ideas behind it, and there was a lesson about preserving your community in it that ran throughout the entire thing.

It showed a town in contemporary New York that is a little

behind the rest of the world, but had also been able to retain its neighborhood “closeness”, which is probably my favorite aspect of the movie (other than the hilarious acting on the part of Jack Black).

For a family of five with children of all ages, it was a hit.

This is a great any-time movie that is sure to give you a laugh.
