What a beautiful television, on or off. A stylized body, streamlined and attractive, at about 2 inches thick, is easily mounted on walls, but a swivel-mount television stand makes this Philips entry in the LCD high definition television market a truly remarkable television. Easily comparable to the higher-end Sony Bravia models, this television has 3 HDMI inputs, S-Video and USB inputs.

For a truly beautiful picture, with a fascinating differential between different shades of black and gray,

      • Philip LCD TV is one television that everyone should own.

I picked this Philips television set up at a sale that I did not know was happening, and got the set at less than half price. I was going to the store to buy a 42 inch Sony Bravia, but the 52 inch Philips was on sale for less than the sale price of the Bravia, and gives a very similar picture; in the store I could

not tell much of a difference between the two, and I believe that the Philips actually gave better detail in the various shades of blacks and grays.

For a beautiful television that offers wonderful video and great audio, easy installation and setup, and extremely easy settings adjustments, the Philips 52PFD7403D LDC high definition television rates an 8 out of 10. I love this television. I had a 48 inch Sony Trinitron rear-projection television, but this blows that Sony away!
