  • It's no longer fun but well, maybe in weekdays, just for the old time sake, but definitely not to bring family or dates

If you’re fed up with Japanese Food, or Chinese Food, or maybe you’ve been eating steak for three days in a row and you started to sick of it, you might need some variation. Little Bagdad is a Middle East restaurant and cafe. I mean for real, they sell food like grilled lamb meat with some special spices.

Little Bagdad located in Kemang, the center of entertainment in the city. The cafe itself was a little bit hidden from the main road, you need to take some turns fron the main street, but once you found it,

it is so easy to find a parking space. The cafe doesn’t open for 24 hours but it serves you til dawn.

In weekend you might need a prior reservation, in case that wasn’t your lucky day, you can be listed with 10 other groups in the waiting list. I’ve been there, done that, I knew and that was terrible. Make a reservation, save your weekend. But, on weekdays, they’re fine, you can come by anytime you like.

Besides the food, the other speciality from this restaurant is the shisha. Some people are more familiar with hookah. They had ...

      • plenty of flavours too, so if you don’t like the usual apple minty flavor, you can try something else. the price of the shisha, wasn’t really expensive, since you can actually use one hookah for a group up to 6 persons.

the shisha was one thing, they’re the best, and that what I like best from this cafe. But the place itself. The design of the interior was really terrible, it is dark, and too crowded. There were almost no space between one table and another. You can even hear what the lady the next table said about

her cheating boyfriend, and that wasn’t nice.

The service is the worst, especially in weekend. Trust me you wouldn’t want to be there at weekend. I really believe they’re lack of employee and they don’t even pay for enough janitor to mind the toilets. The food comes really late and you could wait for more than 15 minutes for extra coal for your hookah.

Well, and exactle because of those downsides this cafe wasn’t my favorite place anymore. It’s no longer fun but well, maybe in weekdays, just for the old time sake, but definitely not to bring family or dates.
