I have read the book ‘The clue of the broken locket’ written by Carolyn Keene. This book is one among the Nancy Drew series. This is an interesting book. In fact, it is one of the most interesting. In this book, Nancy shows lot of courage and wit in order to solve the mystery. The story line is good

and the author has written it in excellent style. I enjoyed reading this wonderful book.

Nancy Drew and her friends, Bess and George pay a visit to the beautiful Misty lake. It is here that they come across Cecily, a friendly and beautiful woman who asks for Nancy’s help. It is here that the mystery begins. As we go on ...

      • reading, the mystery deepens and becomes more and more interesting. The mystery involves a family treasure. The only clue is half of a locket. The other half is missing. Whether Nancy succeeds or not in finding the treasure forms the rest of the story.

Nancy’s investigation makes her go to Pudding stone lodge. Here, the book becomes almost frightening. It

is here that Nancy hears very strange noises, noises about which no sense can be made. There are also flashing lights and strange apparitions. Here the story gets very interesting and is almost like a movie.

I liked this book very much and can recommend it. I was thrilled by this book. I will rate it 9 out of 10 points.
