  • The honey and almond favors are very strong making this cereal, I think, sweeter than the national brand
  • Now for that reason, I prefer the Kroger store brand, which goes by the name of Honey Nut Toasted Oats
  • If you are fortunate enough to have a Kroger and Walmart nearby, I would recommend that you try both store versions of this national brand

Great Value - Honey Nut Spins is a cereal that is manufactured and sold only at Walmart stores. It is a store brand that is based off of General Mills Honey Nut Cheerios.

The large, seventeen ounce box is cheaper than the General Mills twelve point twenty five ounce box, so the cereal is most certainly a deal! Plus,

Kroger cereal is only about twenty cents cheaper.

However, I prefer the not as sweet flavor of the Kroger cereal and that is why I go with that cereal over Walmart’s brand, despite the better deal.

I do still feel that Walmart’s brand is better than the original national brand.

If you are fortunate enough to have a Kroger

and Walmart nearby, I would recommend that you try both store versions of this national brand.

This way, you can decide whether you like the sweeter Walmart brand or the not as sweet but still rich in almond and honey flavored Kroger cereal.

Either one will save you money compared to the General Mills brand and deliver a superior cereal to your breakfast bowl!
