  • Philosophy's amazing grace buffing wash is my favorite scrub
  • I like washing my self with this mild body scrub after a busy day which works to slough off dirt especially with all the pollutants and dusts I get outdoors
  • On the contrary, I think this buffing wash has a very 'unorthodox' packaging
  • However, I believe improvement should be made for that matter
  • Me and my friend enjoyed using this buffing body wash from Philosophy but given the price for a scrub, (about 30 dollars or 1350 pesos without the discount) it wouldn't be affordable

Philosophy’s amazing grace buffing wash is my favorite scrub. I bumped into this body wash a few months ago with a friend while browsing through discounted products at a beauty sale. I certainly wouldn’t bother buying if it wasn’t for sale because of its original price, but there was a huge markdown on the price at that moment so we decided to grab one for ourselves.

I like washing my self with this mild body scrub after a busy day which

works to slough off dirt especially with all the pollutants and dusts I get outdoors. Rather than just an ordinary wash or soap, it has tiny grains that help to exfoliate dead cells. This body wash leaves my skin feeling comfortably clean but without drying. The smell is okay which is slightly similar to laundry fragrance. As a shower soap, it doesn’t foam as much as shower gels but washes away easily with water. The grains ...

      • have a lightweight texture and skin feels more firm after every wash.

On the contrary, I think this buffing wash has a very ‘unorthodox’ packaging. It’s contained inside a fat bottle with a ribbed cap. The fat bottle makes it hard to squeeze a controlled amount, I wish it was easier with a pump or a tapered tube. Maybe the low-profile bottle is inclined to Philosophy’s simple aesthetic. However, I believe improvement should be made for that matter. I

don’t suggest you scrub it on sensitive intimate parts of your body because like most scrubs, it might irritate those areas.

Me and my friend enjoyed using this buffing body wash from Philosophy but given the price for a scrub, (about 30 dollars or 1350 pesos without the discount) it wouldn’t be affordable. Till my budget can loosen up, I’m actually thinking of buying another one, the second time around.
