  • This is simple and sweet Halloween creation that can be enjoyed by people of all ages
  • You must now be careful because since the ghost bread is not as big as a regular slice of bread, it will brown quicker, so I suggest you lower the setting on your toaster to one or two and watch to make sure the toast does not burn and thus blacken

This is simple and sweet Halloween creation that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The hardest part about making this snack item is the ghost shapes.

First though, let me tell you what you will need to pull this off: white bread, whipped cream cheese and black or red currants.

If you have a pair of kitchen scissors, great, because that will make this snack

creation a super simple! If not, you are going to have to settle for a knife and if that is the case, this snack might not be worth your time.

You will use the kitchen scissors to cut out a shape of a ghost out of the white bread.

You will then take the cut out and put it in the toaster.

You must now be careful ...

      • because since the ghost bread is not as big as a regular slice of bread, it will brown quicker, so I suggest you lower the setting on your toaster to one or two and watch to make sure the toast does not burn and thus blacken! Once the toast is toasted to your liking, taking a knife and spread the whipped cream cheese over the ghost-shaped toast.

Then, add the currants for the eyes and the mouth.

You are then done! Enjoy your crispy and smooth slices of spooky slices of toast! If you have to use a knife to make the ghost-shaped toast, exercise caution and proceed slowly and gently! Only adults should attempt this.

Kitchen scissors are much safer and easier though, and have plenty of other uses when it comes to cooking, too!
