  • Their are a few neat scenes, including one in which one of their friends acts as a clown, and the idea of stuffing a whale and then selling tickets for people to look at them is funny to me, too

This story is the 47th Hardy Boys’ mystery for preteen boys. The numbers on the books do not mean much, as every book has an introduction to the characters and the sequence

of events does not seem to be too connected, other than mentioning which mystery is to come at the end of each book. In this mystery, the two boys, Frank and Joe,

      • are hired to provide security at a traveling carnival. Of course, this job turns out to be all mixed up in their father’s current detective assignment. Their are a few neat scenes,
including one in which one of their friends acts as a clown, and the idea of stuffing a whale and then selling tickets for people to look at them is funny to me, too.
