This is one of the best episodes of the series. It’s full of the wacky silver age awesomeness that this show is known for.

First you’ve got Elongated Man and Plastic Man teaming up to fight Babyface, a lame villain sure, but it’s nice to see the two rivals finally meet face to face. If you thought that Batman’s and Green Arrow’s competitive streak was childish, this puts that to shame.

Both are intent on proving that Batman likes them better. I don’t think I’ve seen a Batman/Elongated Man teamup, though it seems like it would be a natural pairing given that they’re both detectives.

Then you have Aquaman calling the Atom (Ryan Choi) for aid after Batman is infected with toxins during a fight with Chemo. This is another villain who’s name they say weird. I always thought the E was hard,

      • here it isn’t. It’s up to Aquaman and the Atom to go in and clear out Batman’s system. Atom tells Batman to stay put as activity accelerates the process. As one would expect, he doesn’t listen.

This is another episode that proves how awesome this version of Aquaman is. Conversely, Atom doesn’t come off as particularly likable for a large part of the episode. Aquaman is too nice to

call him on it, but he’s more than a bit condescending and comes off like a jerk. By the end of the episode, he makes up for it with a crowning moment of awesome.

Along with the Green Lantern and Bat-Mite episodes, this one is in my list of top three best episodes of the series. If you’re a fan of the show, than this is a must watch because it really is glorious.
