I’ve been eating at the Arby’s restaurant in Russell Springs, Kentucky for years. In fact, I worked there once upon a time when I was in high school. It was brand new when I worked there. I can vouch that the place is clean and has great food. I’ve never gotten bad food there. Once in a while the curly fries are cold but it’s rare.

The staff is always friendly and they look well groomed. This is important to me. They are polite at the drive thru

as well. I usually go through the drive thru to get breakfast. Most of their combos are less than five bucks for breakfast. The best thing they have to eat for breakfast is the ham, egg and cheese croissant. Sometimes I get the sourdough bread with ham, egg and cheese. Once in a while I will get sausage.

For lunch or supper, the reuben is good. It comes on a rye bread with swirls in it. It’s about eight dollars with a large Dr. Pepper and curly fries. The next best thing is the market fresh chicken salad sandwich. That thing is so ...

      • good! You’ve just gotta try it! The bacon cheddar roast burger is awesome too. The best way to eat the curly fries is with the barbecue sauce, not the Arby sauce. Either barbecue or cheddar cheese dip is good, or both sometimes. They also carry Hellmann’s mayo in the little packets. That’s the best mayo!

The combo meals at Arby’s will be around five bucks. Plan on spending more for lunch or dinner. But it’s worth it. Like I said, it’s clean and they are friendly. Not only that, it’s convenient for anyone traveling along the Cumberland Parkway between Lexington, Kentucky and Bowling

Green, Kentucky. It’s right off the exit for Russell Springs and Jamestown. Turn left and you’re right there at the light. So easy and convenient for travelers in this area. There’s a nice hotel right behind it if you are in the Russell county area overnight.

When I worked there it was always clean. It still is years later even though it’s changed management and such. It’s always done well, maybe it’s the location. They are open pretty early and relatively late. There’s a couple of gas stations at the same light. So, remember this spot on the map if you’re ever in Russell County, Kentucky.
