  • I am quite impressed that these tasty rashers do actually smell somewhat like real bacon which is a smell that makes me salivate, but they have the great advantage over real bacon for a vegetarian – no animals have been injured in the process
  • My favorite way of eating Quorn Bacon Rashers is between nice fresh French bread with lettuce and tomato and lots of mayonnaise and they are absolutely delicious
  • These are a regular part of my diet and I wholly recommend you try them

Many vegetarians seem to say that they miss the strong taste of bacon even if they do not want to go back to eating meat. I was a vegetarian for years before I discovered these bacon style rashers from Quorn but they are really tasty and I buy them regularly now, usually from the Tesco freezer section for £1.99. Quorn Bacon Rashers are widely available in supermarkets and vegetarian stores. For your information, all Quorn products are made using Mycoprotein which comes from the fungi family and

like real bacon it is high in protein but unlike real bacon it is actually low in fat, so it is much healthier than bacon.

went for years without a BLT and when I discovered Quorn did the job so well I wished I had discovered it before. I also like mixing strips of crisp Quorn rashers in with certain rice dishes or pasta dishes and they go really well. I also think the price is pretty good as you get about eight rashers in a 150g box which lasts me for a good few meals at only £1.99. These are a regular part of my diet and I wholly recommend you try them.
