      The Silmarillion , a book mostly written by J. R.

      R Tolkien and put together by his son does a great job of filling the gaps in the LOTR Mythology, it reaches the level of real myths and the attention to detail is incredible.

      It’s a big book,


      and it contains very little description.

      In this book, you’ll get to know how huumans , elves, and gnomes got along and their kings, their great battles and why do elves hate gnomes.

      Everything is explained in great detail and it’s a book any Lord of the Rings fan must own if they do consider themselves fans.

      To the creation of Middle Earth, till the Third Age, everything is detailed here.

      What disappointed me was the map and the family trees of the elves.

      • The Silmarillion book
      pages of a paperback book and so I ended up printing good quality and good resolution ones of the internet, I could have followed along with them, but it was just such a pain to nearly rip the paper off the book in order
      to see a mountain that is between pages.

      In the end, this book is worthy to have the Tolkien name on it and I couldn’t let it out of my hands the whole time I was reading it.

      This book will keep you up till 4 in the morning.
