  • Overall though deciding on the museum as a destination makes for a very pleasant day out and a bit more interesting viewing of the famous Sydney Harbor Bridge for anyone who has not seen it before or would like to again

When visiting by myself or taking visitors to see the sights this is a very nice place to have lunch with the lawn around the museum very inviting for picnics or as a place to just relax in the sun and enjoy the view of the nearby harbor bridge and the

fresh ocean breeze. Along the foreshore (a paved walkway around the edge of Sydney Harbor) just opposite the gallery is a popular place for street performers such as human statues, jugglers, magicians, clowns and buskers.

The gallery itself has a large collection of well known Australian artists and a steady program ...

      • of new exhibitions. As a regular visitor I always find something new and different to when I was there previously. The three galleries are very bright and open with seating provided to relax and enjoy the art.

Occasionally I can’t help but think that there are some artworks included that I

myself, or even my cat for that matter, could have created. Overall though deciding on the museum as a destination makes for a very pleasant day out and a bit more interesting viewing of the famous Sydney Harbor Bridge for anyone who has not seen it before or would like to again.
