  • I love that fact that it feels like the cursor is gliding along with your fingers
  • The camera is good, not great, but if you're looking for this to be your main camera than it is something I will not recommend

With this being my first Blackberry, I am very pleased and satisfied that I chose the Blackberry Curve 8520. The weight comes in a little under 106 grams as compared to the iPhone that weighs about 135 grams. The lighter phones tend to suit me a little better than the bulky ones because of the size of my hands. It’s design is very sleek, and to music lovers, it has music related buttons to control your MP3’s without having to go to the actual music screen. Very useful to those who will

use this in the gym like myself.

One of the major reasons to get the Blackberry Curve 8520 is because it is the 1st phone to incorporate the new trackpad instead of the trackball, that tends to get stuck every so often, So far I am in love with the new trackpad, it’s similar to the MAC mousepad. I love that fact that it feels like the cursor is gliding along with your fingers. Not only that, but you don’t have to worry so much about it getting stuck with dust or ...

      • guck like the trackball.

The QWERTY keyboard is also something that’ll catch your eye. The keyboard is very spacious and pop-up more than usual keyboards. The camera is good, not great, but if you’re looking for this to be your main camera than it is something I will not recommend. It’s a 2 megapixel camera with no flash. You have to have a very good amount of lighting in the background for the picture to come out good. The video camera is a good addition to the blackberry family.

        Although the Blackberry’s

are not really known for the applications, they have a little bit of everything that’ll suit even the youngest of blackberry users. The fact that it is Wi-Fi enabled is a huge plus for those with no data plan. It lets you browse the internet and visit all of your favorite websites.

If this is your 1st Blackberry then you are in for a treat. If you are a Blackberry expert than this might be a little downgrade from the Tour or the 8900, but a great and very inexpensive phone none the less.
