Artist: Beyonce Video: “Suga Mama” Album: B-Day Label: Columbia Director: Melina and Beyonce

Sporting a 1970s funk and soul theme, “Suga Mama” is predominantly filmed in black and white all throughout and begins with Beyonce donning one of her sexiest outfits yet, a 1950s masculine suit with form-fitting pants (mmm hmm, yep).

She sits in a chair while smoking a cigar, then she gets up and begins to pole dance. This is the best Beyonce moment I have seen thus far.

“Suga Mama” is the sixth music video and single (following “Deja Vu”, “Ring the Alarm”, “Irreplaceable”, “Upgrade U”, and “Beautiful Liar”) from Beyonce’s ...

      • second album titled “B-Day”. The rest of this music video features Beyonce performing and dancing on top of a gigantic cube of sugar (wait until the ants get a hold of this), dancing with a bunch of backup dancers, riding a cyborg bull, and lying down in a oval of light.

        I

would say “Suga Mama” is perhaps one of the most forgettable music videos that Beyonce has ever done, however, with the exception of the opening scene where she wears that one particular outfit that I described above. Other than that, this is no different or better than the rest of the saturated garbage she has been putting out.
