Last night was the season premiere of Law & Order SVU and it was a bit better than expected; though you can only have so many cases involving rape before you start feeling like you’ve watched the show before. This one had an unstable cop discovering a rape victim and, because

he was the only one she trusted, ending up being temporarily assigned to SVU.

They end up finding the rapist and discover he might have raped other women in the past; including a woman that Elliott arrested another man for and that man was currently in prison.

      I personally do not ...

      • like the new ADA on this one.

I can kind of understand where she is coming from when she wants them to do everything by the book to avoid convictions being overturned.

But, she doesn’t need to be so nasty about it either.

And what the heck was with that story

that the guy who was wrongfully convicted has to stay behind bars because the guy who did it was killed and cannot testify now.

They have his confession on tape.

Take it to the governor and get him pardoned if nothing else.

Again, it was an OK episode but not one of the best from the show.
