      Just a few weeks ago, I discovered that there are Wrigley’s Doublemint sugarfree mints in canisters available at the grocery store I frequent, Shopwise – Pasong Tamo corner Vito Cruz Streets, Makati City.

      Each 8.4 oz. canister contains 35 mints and costs P 78.50.


      This is quite expensive for mints but the price of this new product of Wrigley’s is worth it.

      First of all, mints are easier to consume than gum as the latter needs to be disposed off properly after you have chewed on it for quite some time. It is also not advisable for people with dentures and braces to chew on gum. Mints likewise do not cause joint problems.

      And third, the mints come in aluminum canisters so it is easy to store in our bags. We used to dread the thought of crushed gum inside our bags, especially when the package has

      been opened already.

      I personally prefer the spearmint flavor because it is not too strong as a mint. The flavor is artificial though and, looking over the printed label on the canister, I realized there was no listing of ingredient/s used for the product.
