Star Trek: The Next Generation - Old Debts is a comic book that follows up on the episode “Relics” as well as the original series episode “The Trouble With Tribbles”. In this comic book, Scotty along with Robin Lefler who was in a few Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes, have to evade Koloth, the Klingon commander that was in command of the battle cruiser that Scotty transported all the Tribbles

      over to.

Now, Koloth wants revenge for that day, and he has Scotty in his sights! I enjoyed this comic book story for a couple of reasons.

First of all, the Enterprise A appears, albeit in a museum, and it is as beautiful of a starship as ever.

It was wonderful seeing Scotty’s reaction to it and the feelings that it stirred within him.

Second of all, Lefler is a very ...

      • fun character.

She has all these little “life laws” that she comes up with that are quite funny! It is really enjoyable watching her and Scotty interact.

Third of all, the appearance by Koloth is something that, along with Scotty and the Enterprise A, fans of the original series will just eat up.

Seeing his reaction to all those Tribbles being beamed over to his cruiser is really quite enjoyable! As

it is a comic book, this story is a short adventure, but it does cover quite a bit of ground and the reader is treated to some great and memorable scenes and dialogue.

Even if you are not one that reads comic books, I recommend that you give this comic book a try.

It is a fun and satisfying follow-up to storylines from both the original Star Trek and The Next Generation.
