  • I know this show is not exactly realistic in very many ways, but this idea is one that really is quite out there and ridiculous

Beast Wars - Fallen Comrades is an episode that marks the introduction of the first of many new characters. A stasis pod tumbles down in an area not yet seen before on the show: one that is covered in snow.

Both factions send members to recover the stasis pod and either awaken the Maximal inside

or re-program the protoform as a Predicon.

In addition, Dinobot and Optimus orchestrate an idea that may give the Maximals an edge: it is something that I found really laughable and not in a good way.

      • is quite out there and ridiculous.

I do like though that in this episode, Dinobot is given a choice by Megatron to return to the Predicons when Megatron and some Predicons approach the Maximal base that houses only Dinobot and Optimus.

The scene is well handled and it demonstrates that treachery is not a part

of Dinobot’s character as it is in so many of the Predicons.

The race to the stasis pod is exciting with a few battles here and there.

At the end of the episode, a new Transformer is introduced: Tigertron, a Maximal.

Neither Tigertron nor this episode are high on my list of favorite episodes, but both are mildly entertaining.
