  • No, this is make the change and see it now, and I like instant gratification
  • I bought the golden brown color just to add some shine and depth to my dishwatr blonde hair which is listless, dull and otherwise unexciting
  • Of course, you should always test the product on a small section of hair because you don't know if this will be the one product you'll have an allergic reaction to, but I have yet to meet anyone who has had a negative experience using Loreal Preference hair color
  • I recently colored my hair with this color, and I love it
  • The one negative I noticed about the product however is that, even though it's a permanent hair color, it seemed to fade over the next two weeks and it's not nearly as luscious and bright as it originally looked

As a woman, the one thing I can change about my appearance on a regular basis is my hair color. The great thing about coloring your hair is that you get immmediate satisfaction from it. It’s not like dieting where you have to slave at the gym, count every calorie, watch every carb you eat before you see a two pound difference on the scale, not to mention that it takes months before you see a difference in the mirror. No, this is make the change and see it now, and I like instant gratification. Who doesn’t. And, over the years, my hair has been every color under the sun, including pink (on purpose, I might add). I’ve also had rather bad experiences with home hair coloring products and I’ve had to go have it professional fixed. But, Loreal Preference is the one coloring product I never have to worry about.

unexciting. I’m at an age now where drastic changes in my appearance aren’t nearly as important as they used to be, so I’m content to just perk things up to make an impact. I like it to be noticeable though, and there’s nothing worse than coloring your hair, and you love it, and then no one else notices. But with Loreal Preference, no matter what color I’ve chosen, I always end up with compliments, and you don’t have to be a professional to use it yourself, and you don’t have to invite a friend over to do it for you because you’re afraid of messing it up. It really is a full-proof product. I’ve even had professionals ask me who has colored my hair because it was done so well, and they’re all shocked when I tell them I did it myself hanging my head over my bathtub.

Of course, you should always test the product on a small section of hair because you don’t know if this will be the one product ...

I recently colored my hair with this color, and I love it. It was easy to use, took twenty five minutes from start to finish and left me with hair healthier than I’ve seen it in a long time. I don’t know exactly what they put in their product to give these results, but the conditioner they provide in the coloring kit is about the best conditioner I’ve ever used. I have very fine and thin hair and applying any conditioner to my hair usually makes it feel heavy and oily and dirty, but this stuff is like a miracle gel for the hair because it’s airy and light and my hair really flows and it gets rid of the damaged and split ends. If they marketed just the conditioner, I’d buy stock in this company. Sometimes, I’ve bought the hair coloring kits just to use the conditioner, and I

end up throwing the rest away if I’m not ready to color my hair.

When coloring, though, you have to be careful to keep it off the skin, because otherwise it will stay put for a few days of shampoos and washes. And forget getting it out of clothes. Always use an old shirt or towel because it’s almost impossible to avoid getting it on what you’re wearing and then whatever it is is permanently ruined. The one negative I noticed about the product however is that, even though it’s a permanent hair color, it seemed to fade over the next two weeks and it’s not nearly as luscious and bright as it originally looked. In fact, at this point, some four weeks later, you can hardly tell I colored it at all, so I’d suggest going one or two shades darker than you originally wanted. Sure, you’ll have to live with darker hair for a week or two, but afterwards, it looks phenomenal. High recommendations for this product, no matter what color you chose.
