  • So this week I decided to try out Covergirl’s Lash Exact mascara, because I heard that the formula is similar to that of Lash Blast’s, which I loved a lot, and the brush is smaller and more manageable, which is why I got it
  • After trying it on, I notice that the formula is not the same, but there are certain aspects that are very similar, like the consistency, and the very intense dark color
  • However, I found that Lash Exact didn’t add much volume, which I am very frustrated with, because my stick-thin lashes need as much volume as they can get

Wet n Wild is my go-to brand for cheap, drugstore cosmetics, but that doesn’t mean I won’t try new brands to see if they suit my needs better. So this week I decided to try out Covergirl’s Lash Exact mascara, because I heard that the formula is similar to that of Lash Blast’s, which I loved a lot, and the brush is smaller and more manageable, which is why I got it.

      It

comes in a sleek purple, almost lavender, bottle which is much more pleasing to look at, because it is a thin, pretty, girly color that looks nice in my purse, and stands out, so I can find it easily.

After trying it on, I notice that the formula is not the same, but there are certain aspects that are very similar, like the consistency, and the very intense dark color.

      However, I found ...

      • that Lash Exact didn’t add much volume, which I am very frustrated with, because my stick-thin lashes need as much volume as they can get.

It did add incredible length, though.

I really like how it looks on my lashes because of the length that it gives them.

Other than length and color, this mascara doesn’t do much for my eyelashes, and they lost the curl immediate after I applied the mascara, because

it isn’t the lightest, and weighed my lashes down, and I had to re-curl my lashes just to get them to stay up.

The brush is a 3D, silicone, spiky brush, which is just the right size and shape to completely cover my lashes, and it even reaches the inner corners without much hassle.

I use this mascara to lengthen and separate my lashes before adding another layer of volumizing mascara to complete my look.
