The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom is an amazing novel. It’s the story of a man named Eddie who dies on his 83rd birthday.

The reader follows Eddie on his journey through Heaven and the five people he meets there.

These five people have all been in some way

connected to the events of Eddie’s life and how they played out.

Some people he knew very well, some not at all.

Either way, these people all have a lesson to share with Eddie to help him understand why certain things have happened to him throughout the duration of his lifetime.

      Only by ...

      • understanding these things can Eddie move on to the next person and eventually to his own Heaven.

This is a great novel that really makes the reader think about how their life may directly or indirectly affect other people’s lives.

It is filled with memorable characters and important life lessons that can relate

        to just about everyone.

Albom does a great job of painting a mental picture of the surroundings in the book while still encouraging the reader to use their own imagination.

Overall, The Five People You Meet in Heaven is a very well-written and entertaining read that will keep you interested until the very last page.
