  • I thought this particular Law and Order SPecial VIctims Unit episode was a bit similar to the episode entitled Payback in the sense that it made some aspects of the trusted AMerican law a bit questionable to me in terms of what was wrong and what was right
  • I was one the murderess's side straight throughout the episode since I know that I would have flipped the same way
  • I recommend this episode to people who like Law and Order Special Victims Unit despite the fact that I hated this episode and how the detectives acted in it, which in my opinion was very unprofessional

I thought this particular Law and Order SPecial VIctims Unit episode was a bit similar to the episode entitled “Payback” in the sense that it made some aspects of the trusted AMerican law a bit questionable to me in terms of what was wrong and what was right. ALso, it made me question what really was justice and see once again how people could be manipulated and hurt by those members of authority in society who citizens should be able to put their trust in. This is evident in the plot where the SVU detectives investigate the muder

of a judge who was found dead in his car in a very compromising position. The judge, who was a very respected person in society is soon found out to have been demanding sexual favours from women for certain verdicts; and it seems that one of these women who had a husband who had been severely physically abusing her and her daughter was the one who killed the judge. This was because this time, she had to keep giving him the sexual favours so that her monster of a husband would not be released from prison on parole,

      • but the judge would not repay her.

I was one the murderess’s side straight throughout the episode since I know that I would have flipped the same way. The detectives were not the least bit sensitive to her either despit the fact that they knew she was caught between a rock and a hard place, and only did what she did to protect her and her child; but instead they were very hard on her. I was angry with how they handled the case, but I knew it was the law and in the law, even monsters get

justice too whether or not they had been terrorising the innocent.

I recommend this episode to people who like Law and Order Special Victims Unit despite the fact that I hated this episode and how the detectives acted in it, which in my opinion was very unprofessional. Nevertheless, thinking about it, I know that it might have been based on a real case like many Law and Order SVU episodes and I know that many times when innocent people snap when they are being terrorised by high profile monsters in society; especially those in authority, they are usually treated that way.
