16, Rue Maison Dieu, Paris
  • While the negative sides of my experience with the hotel includes such things as a non-impressive sound isolation between rooms, a less than satisfactory cleaning if you look in the corners, and doors which make you fear for your valuables because they're in such bad conditions, the hotel did also give me a good deal of positive impressions
  • However, for those who tend to spend a lot of their time in their hotel rooms, Hotel du Maine is probably not the best choice

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of staying in Paris for a few days of my holiday. During those days I was living at a hotel in central Paris called Hotel Du Maine.

Placed on Rue Maison Dieu, the hotel is in an excellent location for any kind of tourists as it is in walking distance from many of the attractions that Paris holds.

As for the hotel itself, it is rather small,

which gives it a nice cozy atmosphere.

Furthermore, the rooms have private baths and the price, in comparison to Parisian standards, is decent.

While the negative sides of my experience with the hotel includes such things as a non-impressive sound isolation between rooms, a less than satisfactory cleaning if you look in the corners, and doors which make you fear for your valuables because they’re in such bad conditions, the hotel did also give ...

      • me a good deal of positive impressions.

First and foremost, the service that you encounter on the hotel is excellent.

The staff is very friendly and helpful to all your needs.

As previously stated, the location is also great and there is a parking garage nearby - though their prices are outrageous, but they seem to be the standards of Paris.

All in all I did have a nice stay there.

        The hotel is

recommendable for people who wish to experience Paris every second of the time they’re there - that includes tourists and couples on romantic trips.

However, for those who tend to spend a lot of their time in their hotel rooms, Hotel du Maine is probably not the best choice.

The rooms are suited for sleeping, showering, and resting, but not for living in.

Conclusively, the most positive experiences of my stay comes from the service and the breakfast.
