While doing the standard grocery shopping last week, my husband popped what looked like regular microwavable pop corn into our cart. When we decided to have pop corn, later, we were NOT happy! What we had purchased was not regular popcorn that we normally buy, that is made by Orville Redenbacher, but, kettle korn.

It never ocurred to either of us that that is a different taste, altogether! A taste that both of us found

      not good at all.

The package is red and the corn is golden on the picture on the box.

It says Orville Redenbacher and is totally easy to get confused with regular popping corn, when you should buy it.

If you are one who likes the taste of corn syrup in your popcorn………much like popcorn balls, then, you might like this type.

This is really sweet, and rather salty, at the same time.

      We, normally,

      • buy popcorn that is plain.

The box has 6 packs of kettle korn inside, and, honestly, I don’t know who to give it to.

I wouldn’t want the grandsons to eat such sweets and no one in this house can stand this taste.

If you are watching your diet, trying to eat foods that are genuinely good for you, do not make the mistake we did.

Natural popcorn is a great snack for watching that

favorite DVD, but this is NOT.

Just be careful when you buy your popping corn, or you may wind up with kettle korn, and no one to eat it! I will save this box of overly sweetened popcorn for a visitor who is a sugar junkie.

Read the fine print, or you may be bringing home expensive to buy, too sweet to eat, popcorn for your treats! This is not going to get a high evaluation from this family, EVER.
