After about two decades did not release an album, in 2008, New Kids on the Block released an album titled The Block. New Kids on the Block could be the beginning of the era of boy bands of the decade 80.

Since the appearance of this group, many boy bands that appeared on average offer the same

thing, light music, dance, and of course sweet face.

Naturally, if most boy-band fans are girls.

About the music, this album still adhere to market demands and was not much carry a big change.

What is surprising from this album are the lyrics of the song.

If the previous twenty years, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Joey McIntyre,

      • Jordan Knight and Jonathan Knight, a lot of indulgence in sweet words of love, this time they talk much about sex.

Actually there is no problem, because they are grown.

        However, these lyrics seem monotonous.

In this album, there are some big names like Ne-Yo, Pussycat Dolls, and New Edition to participate to contribute.

        Collaboration is reasonable because

many other artists who also do it.

But such an impression that they are not confident.

This can be seen from so much use of electronic sound effects.

However, this album shows the existence of New Kids on the Block, considering the many bands that have disbanded.

At least, the fans of New Kids on the Block will be entertained.
