  • One of these themeparks was SeaWorld which i was very impressed with
  • Seeing these huge creatures do such amazing tricks and just their size can make someone speechless
  • One of the best tricks i saw a whale do was to swim underwater with the trainer and come out of the water with the trainer on its nose
  • We got to touch the dolphins and after about 5 minutes we had to leave but was definately an experience i will remember for the rest of my life
  • SeaWorld also has two roller coasters the Manta and Kraken, unfortunately the queues were so long that we were not able to ride the rides before the park shut

My boyfriend and I went down to Orlando, Florida for a small vacation and decided to visit all of the local theme parks. One of these themeparks was SeaWorld which i was very impressed with! Seaworld has many activities which you can do, whether this be seeing all of the animals, having a close encounter with these animals, or riding the rides! SeaWorld also offers many shows such as the Shamu Show and the Sea Lion show.

The first thing we saw at SeaWorld was the Shamu show which blew my breath away. Seeing these huge creatures do such amazing tricks and just their size can make someone speechless. There are around seven whales at SeaWorld that do tricks for the audience, including flips and splashing the audience. One of the best tricks i saw a whale do was to swim underwater with the trainer and come out of the water with the trainer on its nose. The way they can train these huge beautiful creatures is unbelieveable

and mindtaking! Although we were not able to reach the Sea Lions show, it is meant to be one of the big features of SeaWorld and a show that everyone should see when visiting SeaWorld.

SeaWorld also offers you many exhibits which allow you to get up close to all sorts of animals. Some of these exhibits are the shark encounter, the dolphin nursery, the manatee rescue, and the penguin encounter. Although there are many more these were by far my favorite exhibits in the whole park! In the dolphin nursery you are able to see baby dolphins that are still learning how to do tricks and work up to the other dolphins skills. I loved when we got to see the dolphins swimming underwater in groups! They came so close to the glass that it felt like if you stuck your hand through it you could pet them! The dolphins seem to like people and like being close up to the glass where everyone is standing observing ...

      • them.

There is also another exhibit called Dolphins Cove which is kind of like a show in itself. This is where they put all the dolphins and have them perform tricks for the crowd! I was very impressed by all of the tricks the dolphins can do they are very intellegent animals and is almost breathtaking to watch. SeaWorld also allows you to touch the stingrays that are in a tank of water, we both touched them and they were very slimey! For only $5 you can get 4 peices of shrimp to feed the stingrays which we also did! You can feel the stingrays suck the peice of shrimp right up from your finger, how cool is that? They also allow you for to feed the dolphins for only $7 a person, which was very neat. You get a tray of small fish where you hold above the water and drop it for the dolphin. They encouraged you to rub the dolphins neck when feeding them fish

because it felt good to them! We got to touch the dolphins and after about 5 minutes we had to leave but was definately an experience i will remember for the rest of my life.

SeaWorld also has two roller coasters the Manta and Kraken, unfortunately the queues were so long that we were not able to ride the rides before the park shut. There is also a raft ride called Journey to Atlantis where you could hear the riders screaming as the ride splashed into the water. If you do not want to get wet, i would not go on the raft ride, you get completely soaked.

A seaworld ticket costs around $74 per adult and $65 per child for a one day ticket. The park is definately worth the money and you will enjoy every second! Seaworld is appropriate for all ages and is fun for everyone! I would encourage everyone who is visiting Orlando, Florida to visit SeaWorld, and make memories that you will remember for a lifetime!
