Who doesn’t love spaghetti? We all do. It doesn’t matter if you’re a kid, or an adult. Spaghetti will never go out of fashion. What is with this food that people crave about? Well actually, it is how it’s cooked. You wouldn’t want to finish up a poorly cooked plate of spaghetti would you?

I guess the reason why spaghetti is such a well-loved food, is because it has everything on it. The pasta can be your carbohydrates, then it has the mushrooms, tomato sauce, and herbs, plus the cheese and ground meet in it! It is healthy for kids, and adults consider it a complete meal.

A lot of people tend to dine out coz

they believe it’s a quicker way to get spaghetti. The truth is, spaghetti is not really difficult to make. And it doesn’t even take that long to prepare as many would imagine. More so, people avoid cooking spaghetti because they can’t perfect the taste that easy. Well, here’s the solution to that. I prepared a simple, easy to follow recipe, with no fuss at all, but will result in the best spaghetti anybody could ever make.

You just need to prepare a box of spaghetti (8 oz.) You first have to measure 8 cups of water in a pan, add a tablespoon of cooking oil and a teaspoon of salt, and let it boil. When ...

      • it does, add the spaghetti. Bring back to boil and make sure you check on it coz the spaghetti may be done in 8-10 minutes. It is best not to overcook. When it’s done, drain it on a colander and add butter to prevent lumping.

To make the Italian Spaghetti Sauce, you must have the following ingredients beforehand: 2 tablespoons cooking oil, 2 tablespoons of butter, 1 stalk of celery (chopped), 2 onions (chopped) 100 grams of ground pork, half a kilo of ground beef, 2 tablespoons white wine, 3 large garlic cloves (finely chopped), 1 bay leaf, 1 ½ cup tomato sauce, half a teaspoon of salt, 1/8 cup grated cheese, 1 ½ cup

of beef stock and a dash of pepper.

While you’re making the pasta, you can heat the cooking oil in another pan to save time. Add the butter when the oil is heated, and cooked the chopped onions on it, do it slowly until tender. Add celery, then the ground pork and cook for 10 minutes. Then add beef, wine, garlic and spices. Allow them to cook for 5 minutes then add the tomato sauce. Correct seasoning. Allow to simmer gently for an hour or until thick. A little flour may be added if the sauce is too thin.

When it’s done, pour it over the pasta and serve. How could that be hard? It’s even very tasty!
