Alias Smith and Jones: Wrong Train to Brimstone is an important show for the series in that it’s the very first time we meet the character of Harry Briscoe as played with wit and brilliance by J.D. Cannon. Cannon is probably best known for being Sam McCloud’s boss on the crime drama, McCloud. The Briscoe character is one that takes a couple of episodes to develop

One thing leads to another, and Heyes and Curry end up on the train, pretending to be Grant and Gaines. Imagine their shock when they discover that every passenger on the locomotive is a Bannerman
detective and that they are setting a trap for Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry.

The show has all kinds of angst and important decisions for our heroes to make. It’s good drama and fun comedy.

The supporting cast is excellent and features Beth Brickell as Sara Blaine, a woman who claims to know Heyes and Curry, and William Windom as Jeremiah Daley.

Alias Smith and Jones: Wrong Train to Brimstone is always fun to watch.
