I really wasn’t expecting much from this film. It looked cute.

      But that’s about it.

      However, I

was in for a pleasant surprise when I saw how nicely put together the movie actually was.

Chi McBride, I think is the one real actor that held things together.

While some of his scenes with Xavier (Bow Wow) were a little over-acted (mostly on Bow Wow’s part) I found the family scenarios pretty authentic for that time period.

      prominent in theatres.

So I found that this one centering on a neighborhood rollerskating competition was pretty refreshing.

The character that really sets things off in this film is “Sweetness”.

He’s sensual and cool, but not too over the top.

This was a really sweet movie, without much violence or bad language.

I think it’s actualy a great film for kids and adults alike.
