  • Sam in the other hand used to deal with several similar cases and knew the best procedure but Anthony gets the megaphone and he starts convincing Ruben to jump because he is a failure and he has nothing to live for, that leads Ruben to really jump
  • What is really interesting about this show is that Sam has a list of stuff that could have happened to him and every now end then we get to an explanation from a list that could be acceptable but we don’t get nor a confirmation or a negation

Ruben wants to jump from a building and kill himself because he has invented a personal phone that you can carry around and the investment failed. Everyone thinks that the idea is silly but Sam says to Ruben that he is ahead of his time because in future all the people will have that kind a phone. Antony Nunzio, Lu’s blood enemy arrives and wants to talk Ruben out of jumping by reverse psychology. Sam in the other hand used to deal with several similar cases and knew the best procedure but Anthony gets the megaphone and he starts convincing Ruben to jump because he is a failure and he has nothing to live for, that leads Ruben to really jump.

While all this was going on a masked Russian man robbed a bank asking for $10 000. When the detectives arrive at the bank the 144 squad is already there, Nunzio is with them. Most of the people in the bank were

Russians and no one is willing to speak, they find a boy who speaks English and they bring him in for questioning.

A social worker, Maria, is with the boy, although the boy is scared because he thinks that the robber will kill him if he gives him up, he says that robbers name is Vasili. So the detectives go to a bath to talk to Vasili who gives them no information. Back at the police station Annie and Maria are talking and Marie shows interest for Sam but she also realises that Annie is interested too.

When the detectives come back Annie informs them that the gun they’ve found in the bank belongs to a man called Yuri so the detectives go to pay him a visit, but they see that Nunzio is there already. Lu wants to trick Nunzio so he pays a man to go and tell Nunzio that someone is stealing his car. Nunzio runs out to stop them ...

      • while Lu and Sam ‘steal’ Yuri.

They take him to the station. Sam asks Lu about his rivalry with Nunzio. Lu tells him that they liked the same girl but the girl chose Lu so since then they can’t stand each other.

Yuri confesses a robbery. He paid Vasili to bring his wife and daughter to America and Vasili did it but now he wants another 10 000 dollars to let them go, if Yuri doesn’t pay Vasili will kill them. Yuri explains to Sam that in Soviet Union he was working on a project in which they implanted small machines into human brain in research for human soul.

Sam sees a small vehicle coming out of his eye, the same one he kept seeing since he arrived to 1973. As Sam doesn’t know what happened to them he starts thinking he was a part of this experiment too. Maria arrives at precinct and sees Sam they start talking and finish in the

        file room making love passionately.

Lu and Sam go to Vasili to find Yuri’s family. So a silly little scene starts. There are a couple of Russian guys and 125 squad think they will fight them easily but then a bunch more Russian appear and a few second after the 144 squad arrives too and they start to fight, of course, the good guys win and Yuri’s family is found an brought to Yuri.

The episode ends in a bar. Everyone is there, Maria arrives and Sam finds out that she is Lu’s daughter. What is really interesting about this show is that Sam has a list of stuff that could have happened to him and every now end then we get to an explanation from a list that could be acceptable but we don’t get nor a confirmation or a negation.

It as if they want to take us to different tracks in order to confuse us so that we can’t get to any conclusions.
