  • I have two very cute and totally pampered kitty cats who I adore and find enormous pleasure in and who I believe are happy to be my furry masters
  • But because they are indoor cats, I am always worried that they aren't getting the proper nutrition and so when I saw a bag of the Frisky's Indoor Delights dry cat food, I thought well, why not
  • In any case, although I think this is a good brand and it does have good ingredients, I no longer feed my cats dry food, no matter what kind it is
  • I found out that since cats are carnivores and get ALL their nutrition from meat as well as a major portion of their water requirement, they don't really need anything else
  • I just think that although dry cat food is convenient and easy to feed to your cats, you must remember that they are carnivores and they really do need to just stick to a meat diet

I have two very cute and totally pampered kitty cats who I adore and find enormous pleasure in and who I believe are happy to be my furry masters. And because I care about them, I don’t let them outside, well except to the back balcony where my little girl kitty loves to jump up on the itty bitty little ledge and run back and forth like she’s lost her mind. It always freaks me and my fiance out to watch her to weird gymnastics whenever she attempts to capture some strange looking night bug. My big boy kitty can’t get his fat rump up there so he just jumps in the outdoor chair and snoozes when the weather is nice and cool. But because they are indoor cats, I am always worried that they aren’t getting the proper nutrition and so when I saw a bag of the Frisky’s Indoor Delights dry cat food, I thought well, why not? After all, they do like the Frisky’s wet cat food that I normally get

them. And I do trust the Frisky’s brand. I mean, yes, they aren’t as good as some of the other brands, yet at the same time it’s still has some good ingredients and it’s affordable.

I liked this dry food because it had little small green bits in it that was suppose to represent greens like grasses that cats normally go after outside when they don’t feel good or if they need something that they can’t get in their regular diets. I fell for it hook line and sinker thinking that they will get everything they need and all in the same cat chow. So I bought a large bag of this stuff. It’s not too expensive considering it’s close to fifteen pounds or something and for the most part it will last close to almost four months if you have two cats. My cats seemed to like it too. At least my big boy did because after eating the wet food, he’d go crunch crunch and then at night I’d hear the same noises ...

      • so I knew he was feasting on the dry kibble happily. My female kitty wasn’t so fond of the dry food. But that’s the case for her no matter what kind of dry food I put down for her. She is a true carnivore as all cats are really, and she’ll only eat the dry food if she is totally and completely hungry and there is nothing else for her to eat. But she’s also very weird because she is a total fan of cantaloupe and will sit there and beg pitifully until I give her some. I know. What a weirdo.

In any case, although I think this is a good brand and it does have good ingredients, I no longer feed my cats dry food, no matter what kind it is. I found out that since cats are carnivores and get ALL their nutrition from meat as well as a major portion of their water requirement, they don’t really need anything else. And the dry food is just a collection of useless carbohydrates

that dehydrate them and make them obese. They are also a prime reason why so many cats get urinary tract infections. My boy cat was suffering from that and when I switched him to just wet can food, he’s doing much better and doesn’t keep licking his genitals like crazy like he use to. I just think that although dry cat food is convenient and easy to feed to your cats, you must remember that they are carnivores and they really do need to just stick to a meat diet. We really can’t fight Mother Nature and her unique design and yes, I do realize it is very expensive to only feed cats meat or meat products, but in the end, they are going to be much more healthy and happy and really, that is worth more than money. So again, although this is a good product, I will never buy anymore dry cat food, but if you are insistent on getting dry cat food for your cats, then this is a good dry food that they will enjoy.
