I’ve purchased Oscar Mayer Fully Cooked Bacon a couple of times, the most recent being this summer. Buying a fully cooked bacon product is a convenient time saver. The bacon is ready to go, as is, cold, or you can warm it in a variety of ways, if you want it

      hot and toasty.

Oscar Mayer Fully Cooked Bacon is thick cut and comes in a recloseable tray. Each package has 12 slices of 100% real bacon. Three slices equals a serving, which works out to roughly 70 calories per serving for those who keep track of that sort of thing.

      What I ...

      • focus on, however, is the taste. Oscar Mayer is a quality brand and I would expect their bacon to have a satisfactory taste, and this does. Nothing is like just-fried bacon in a skillet, but this fully cooked product does give the taste buds a flavorable workout. I’ve eaten
straight and in a variety of different sandwiches, all of which tasted great.

The recloseable box is adequate. It doesn’t snap close, though. The cover just sort of sits over the container. This could use some help to truly keep the bacon fresh.

All in all, it’s thumbs up for this breakfast treat.

Is there a pre fully cooked turkey bacon product? If so where do I buy. Meat dept. isn`t aware of any such item,

    Orrymain replies :

I actually have no idea if there is or not. It`s not a product I`ve ever looked for. Good luck.

I have a complaint…I have purchased your fully cooked bacon before and the box says it has 15 slices in the box…the last box I purchased had only 12…how can I be sure that any other boxes I purchase will have 15 slices like the box says….thanks Linda

    Orrymain replies :

HI Linda. I have no association with Oscar Mayer. I only review the products. If it were me, I`d simply call the 800 number usually it`s on the box or you can search out their website . Most companies make good on something like that as it`s most often an innocent mistake. Some might just take it back to the place of purchase for replacement.
