  • The books have never disappointed me, and neither have the movies for the most part

I just got done watching Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince for the second time since it’s come out. I am a huge Harry Potter fan, I have read all the books and have seen all the movies up until now. The books have never disappointed me, and neither have the movies for the most part.

Besides the obvious fact that the movies definitely do not have the same feel as the books, these are excellent movies. However, I was a little disappointed with

      The Half Blood Prince.

The 2 hour and 40 minutes do seem to fly by, so that’s not a problem. The one major complaint I have in this last movie is the lack of “action” in it.

The book was a lot more suspenseful, and definitely more action packed. The actors who play Harry, Hermione, and Ron all seem to be getting too old to be playing the roles that they have.

I worry about how old they will look by the time the last ...

      • movie comes out, in 2011. Besides for that, the casting done for these movies is excellent.

The actor who plays Snipe is excellent, very realistic of the book. Same goes for Dumbledore and Hagrid.

Some parts of the movie can get confusing if you miss a part, especially the very beginning. The death of Dumbledore is very flat in this movie.

For one of the main character’s, there should of been more suspense involved in this scene then there actually was. Harry didn’t seem that

broken up as he did in the book, so they definitely could of done a lot better with that.

I also didn’t like the lack of scenes Draco was in, as a main character in the book, he should of been shown a lot more than he was. Overall, the movie was good, but definitely not as good as the others.

It is a must see for all Harry Potter fans, but I sure do hope the next 2 movies are done a lot better.
