  • I'd definitely rate it better than the PSP, but for most of your everyday gaming needs inside your own home, the DS cannot be beat by the traditional home video game consoles

The Nintendo DS is a portable handheld video console from Nintendo, and the DS Lite is the second of three versions of this console. I found it a very good buy. The touch screen function is amazing. Objects can now be interacted with in the game to a whole new extent, and games make the most of this

new feature. The microphone is also a great new feature, and most games also make the most of this. Game Boy Advance games are also playable on the DS Lite, as there is a GBA slot for playing those games.

The design of the console is quite sleek, although the colors leave something to be desired. The stylus is ...

      • very easy to lose and break, as it is both small and thin. The battery life is acceptable, although I find myself charging the thing more often than not.

Overall, the Nintendo DS Lite is a must-buy for those wishing for the convenience of playing games wherever and whenever you want, as most of the hottest handheld games

are for the DS. It’s less fragile than a PSP as the screen is practically untouchable when you have it inside your bag, since it’s a flip top. I’d definitely rate it better than the PSP, but for most of your everyday gaming needs inside your own home, the DS cannot be beat by the traditional home video game consoles.
