  • Then there was Gabrielle Miller who played Naomi in this show and Thetys on SG-1, Kirsten Prout who appeared here as Elayne and on SG-1 as Nesa, and Amber Rothwell who guest stars as Karin and was in the fan favorite episode of 1969 on SG-1

For me, Jeremiah: The Touch felt like a Stargate SG-1 reunion. I realize that shows filmed in Vancouver tend to use the same actors, but sometimes it just reeks of a certain cast. The Touch featured a number of performers who had been on SG-1 and every time I saw one, I’d chuckle. As soon as I done chuckling, here

came another one. It began with J.R. Bourne, who was Martouf on SG-1 and here in this show was the Stenn, the leader of the community.

      • in the fan favorite episode of 1969 on SG-1. Two other actors with decent roles in Jeremiah: The Touch were also on SG-1, Martin Sims and Michael Eklund.

Prout is adorable in The Touch. She has spunk, determination, and appeal. I loved watching her. Bourne was actually disappointing here. It felt like he walked through the first half of

the show. He was better in the final couple of scenes, but I just didn’t feel any passion or depth from his role initially.

The concept of ‘The Decree’, the rule whereby no one in this community was allowed to touch, was intriguing for a bit.

Overall, the show was okay, but not one of their best. Watching Prout was worth it, though.
