  • The plot, while mildly interesting, is not able to maintain any sense of excitement in viewers as it just doesn’t depict the epic war or the great John Connor that was so talked about in the original films
  • The actors do a decent job with what they are given but ultimately this movie adds nothing new to the franchise and in my opinion was totally unnecessary

The fourth film in the popular Terminator franchise takes place in the future that was only alluded to in the first three films. Christian Bale plays John Connor, the now adult leader of the human resistance fighting to take down Skynet and their army of Terminators.

depict the epic war or the great John Connor that was so talked about in the original films. It falls flat in certain parts and the character of John Connor seems to constantly play second fiddle to the more interesting Marcus Wright character, something I am sure was not intentional. Long time fans of the series will be delighted by hearing Linda Hamilton’s voice over and ...

      • seeing Arnold return (in digitized form) for a cameo as the T800. The actors do a decent job with what they are given but ultimately this movie adds nothing new to the franchise and in my opinion was totally unnecessary.

The Terminator should have ended with part two as was originally planned by James Cameron. The third film just retread ground covered in 2 but was entertaining

in its own right and also featured Arnold in his final film role before becoming Governor of California. This film on the other hand is a total miss, proving that a Terminator film without Arnold will never be successful no matter how many stars you cast or how good the story might be. It’s like making a Rambo or Rocky film without Stallone. Just doesn’t make sense.
