I was watching Law & Order Criminal Intent last night and have to say, even though I’m still not a huge fan of the Jeff Goldblum addition to the cast, I did like the episode “Major Case. ” The pairing of Nichols and Eames was definitely interesting though I think Goren and

      Nichols would have been better.

Wheeler conveniently goes into labor in the middle of the episode (she doesn’t say anything when her water breaks).

The case itself was interesting too.

You have a young drug dealer getting killed the night before she is going to leave town to get her life ...

      • back in order.

The guy who kills her turns out to be the head of the crime lab.

This causes some difficulty for the detectives on a political level when Nichols figures it out and starts pursuing the guy.

The ending is a bit predictable though.

        The second they handed him

that hair that was supposedly found on the body, I knew he would try to frame someone else rather than realizing it was a set up.

But, overall, it was a good episode that was definitely worth watching.

I just wish the female characters actually did something on this series other than have babies.
