The book “In the Forests of the Night,” by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is a great fantasy book for teens. I read this when it came out when I was young, but since there has been a lot more interest from teens in

the vampire genre it would be relevant.

This book is a great vampire themed book.

It is about a young vampire named Risika.

She reflects on her past a lot and about who she is now and what she has become.

It centers around her very long conflict with another vampire name Aubrey who killed her brother long ago.

I think this is a good book for teens.

It isn’t scary or contain anything inappropriate and was actually written by Amelia ...

when she was only thirteen herself.

She has many other books out following the vampire theme and also a series with a theme of shapeshifter which is extrememly entertaining.

If you are a teen,or a parent of a teen looking

for books they might like, I am recommending “In the Forests of the Night.
