  • You will not experience this with Tarte's product, it does what it claims to do
  • I love the way my lashes feel after using this mascara
  • Tarte's mascara definitely fits into the latter category since they are actually discovering and implicating new technology in order to improve on a timeless product that is necessary to any woman's make-up collection

Tarte’s Mascara, Lights, Camera, Lashes has been on the market for a few years now but has recently been getting more attention by make-up artists and cosmetic professionals. Fortunately, an excellent product is finally getting the recognition it deserves in the vast world of make-up.

Most mascaras are targeted toward a specific desired result and designed to create a certain change to the eyelashes. For example, lengthinging, curling, thickening, etc.

Tarte claims that their Lights, Camera, Lashes is designed specifically for: lengthening, curling, volumizing, and conditioning. The first three: lengthening, curling and volumizing are almost expected by a high end mascara such as Tarte’s (although the curling is an

added bonus), the conditioning aspect is something new and interesting. I find that this mascara actually does condition my lashes. Much like conditioner is a necessary product for the hair, eye lashes are chemically exactly like hair. Therefore, they need to be conditioned as well.

The genuises at Tarte discovered that olive esters not only condition the lashes, but repair, restore, protect and moisturize them. Many mascaras on the market today cause lashes to feel dry and flaky. You will not experience this with Tarte’s product, it does what it claims to do: condition the eye lashes. Interestingly enough, the olive ingredient actually works to condition the lashes not only while you ...

      • are wearing the product, but they will feel more moisturized even after it is washed off.

Rice bran wax is used to lengthen the lashes, a formula different from companies that are inserting those tiny fibers intended to bind to the end of lashes. ProVitamin B5 is used to thicken the lashes, and the forumla reflects this. The rice bran wax is something totally revolutionary and not used by any other cosmetic company which shows that Tarte really is on top of their game. I love the way my lashes feel after using this mascara. They are longer, thicker, more conditioned yet they don’t feel dry at all. You can actually run

your finders along them and feel how soft and flexible they are.

Mascaras can typically be broken down into two categories: those that work due to their applicator brush and those that work due to their ingredients. Tarte’s mascara definitely fits into the latter category since they are actually discovering and implicating new technology in order to improve on a timeless product that is necessary to any woman’s make-up collection.

The ingredients make this mascara work. However, the brush doesn’t hurt in this case either. The application is smooth and flawless, not clumpy and results in the perfect lashes every time: thicker, curlier, longer and bolder, exactly what every woman is looking for.
