  • I know that there has been a lot of bad reviews concerning LA Weight Loss in particular when you consider that they closed down all the centers in the Las Vegas region, leaving many of its members stranded and without legal recourse
  • However, I am not going to review or write about the recent troubles of this weight loss company and instead speak about what I thought of the program as a whole
  • The program is NOT what you would call cheap, but at the time, I was a counselor there and so was able to do the program for free although anything I bought there had to be paid for but with a large discount provided
  • The bars were the best as they really did taste good, although if you had them for as long as I did, they do tend to lose their flavor and you do become desperate to have a Klondike bar
  • Of course in any business there will be people dissatisfied, but I am one of their success stories as the skills I learned as a counselor made it possible for me to lose 50 pounds

I know that there has been a lot of bad reviews concerning LA Weight Loss in particular when you consider that they closed down all the centers in the Las Vegas region, leaving many of its members stranded and without legal recourse. However, I am not going to review or write about the recent troubles of this weight loss company and instead speak about what I thought of the program as a whole. About three years ago I was seriously overweight, weighing nearly 50 pounds more than I weight now. Of course I tried the pills and weight loss advise you can find on the web and yet nothing worked for me as I just seemed to keep gaining more and more weight.

But then about four years ago, I started doing the LA Weight Loss plan, and it really helped my weight loss. The program is NOT what

you would call cheap, but at the time, I was a counselor there and so was able to do the program for free although anything I bought there had to be paid for but with a large discount provided. I thought that the plan was very sensible, making sure that you had all the food you needed, including the food groups such as carbs, meat, veggies and fruit. They also provided you with what they called the LA bars, chocolate-covered energy bars that helped with the sweet tooth craving as well as giving you something more than just the usual bread and veggies most weight loss places insist you have.

All the counselors I worked with were very professional, giving 100% to their clients and making sure they stayed on track. I had a fellow co-worker be my counselor and it really helps to have someone there to help you with the hard times and to praise you when you do good and lose that 2 pounds per week as the program claims it will do should you follow the plan accordingly. The products were all very good for you as well as helpful especially if you needed help with controlling your carb intake as well as helping you melt fat or give you more energy. The bars were the best as they really did taste good, although if you had them for as long as I did, they do tend to lose their flavor and you do become desperate to have a Klondike bar. But once you see the weight loss results, it just gets easier and easier.

Now, I am not stating that this program helped every one at any time. Yes, there were failures and yes there were people who were disgusted at how ...

little or much you had to eat, and of course the price is what bugged the people the most. But I did like their rebate plan which was if you kept the weight off for a full year, you’d get back half of your initial purchase price which could total to around 350 dollars. And yes, there were many people that did get back that rebate, I’m pleased to say. But the ones that failed were typically the people that didn’t come in and get weighed or sat with their counselors. They really didn’t even try, and for the very few that didn’t lose weight no matter what they did we did give them back their full refund.

To say that this was a shoddy and money-hungry program that didn’t deliver is unfair. Yes, it was expensive, but then again, how much would you spend if you had to

get surgery done? And really the people that did this program for other than vanity reasons were the usual ones that succeeded. I’ve had clients who lost over 150 pounds and they didn’t even do any of the products we offered. I’ve seen clients get off heart medications as well as conquer diabetes and they were so grateful that we were able to help them. Of course in any business there will be people dissatisfied, but I am one of their success stories as the skills I learned as a counselor made it possible for me to lose 50 pounds.

I just wish they didn’t close all the centers as I really did like that job and the people and clients I worked with. And honestly, I feel this is a great program but one has to be disciplined and ready to do this as it is with anything in life.
